Santas on The Move

A Santacon Robot Documentary

Santas On The Move - Footage Needed!

We are now a little under six weeks until the New York City Santacon 2010, but I’m putting out a call for footage of your local Santacon. We aren’t looking for a ton of footage, maybe just two or three minutes of cool footage that will be placed into a montage about other Santacons going on around the world.

If interested, please try to stay as close to this as possible so it will gel with the rest of the film.

If at all possible, please shoot in HD. We want the best looking thing we can, and NYC’s footage is in 1080 at 24fps. If you have a really nice camera or a DSLR, get some good footage of the chaos in your city. And make it unique, how is Seattle’s Santacon different from San Francisco’s? If you need to, in a pinch we’ll take iphone 4 footage shot in HD.

If you can’t take video, then send some awesome pictures. Same thing applies. I want to know how your experience at Santacon is special and different from mine here in NYC.

If you would like to participate in our “hands across the world santacon edition” project; please email me at nick.r.brewer@gmail.com. I’ll try to give you some better instructions about what we are looking for and a hearty thank you for your time and effort.

This website, http://santacon.info/ has information about when each Santacon will happen in your area. Once you have your footage, we’ll need it quickly as we want to put out the final product by Christmas Day.

Thanks,
Nick

P.S. If you know someone who is attending from a really cool place (Tokyo, Paris, Texas, etc) please pass this along and lets try to make sure we get a lot of cities involved.
